Canine annual visits include a comprehensive examination by one of our veterinarians, including a detailed check of skin, nose, mouth, eyes, ears, lymph nodes, heart and lung sounds, abdominal palpation, fleas, and overall coat condition. Annual canine vaccines include DHLPP, rabies, bordetella (kennel cough vaccine), heartworm check (done in-house), and a fecal examination to check for intestinal parasites. We also encourage a six-month checkup for your dog which includes a parvo vaccine booster, a fecal check for intestinal parasites, and a comprehensive exam.

Surgery and Bloodwork
We offer routine surgeries including feline and canine neutering and spaying, and feline declaw surgeries (front feet only). We also offer various other surgeries, based on an animal’s condition, from bladder stone surgeries to orthopedic restorative operations. Our patients are closely monitored throughout all surgeries and post-operative care. Both in-house and out-of-house bloodwork is available. We offer comprehensive general health, geriatric, kidney, and many other blood profiles. Blood can also be sent to an out-of-state laboratory for further diagnostic testing.
We also offer, and strongly encourage, microchipping. Although microchipping does not require the animal to be under general anesthesia, we offer a price cut when microchipping while your pet is being spayed or neutered. We microchip with Avid brand microchips.
