AVH’s Dedicated Staff

Dr. David Williams, DVM

Dr. David Williams, DVM

Owner, Veterinarian

David Williams earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. He has 32 years of experience as a practicing vet, including 27 years as the owner and lead practitioner of Avondale Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Williams takes pride in putting pets and their owners first, ahead of other considerations. He uses a personal, straightforward approach to pet wellness, treatment and communication with his clients. In a world where vet clinics are increasingly corporate owned and directed, Dr. Williams maintains his commitment to maintaining the opposite kind of atmosphere: Caring and friendly, while still delivering first rate care and the kind of personalized service that is getting increasingly hard to find.

As a former vet tech with 13 years of experience, I can tell you the staff is really well cross-trained. Different staff members can easily step in to help with different jobs. It runs like a well-oiled machine. At the same time, it feels like a family. It’s a great team of caring people.
Lane Wages

Receptionist

After 25 years of experience, I’ve had a chance to observe many veterinary practices. I’ve worked in other practices that weren’t nearly as caring. Dr. Williams is really compassionate. He truly cares about the pets and he’s taking care of, as well as their owners.
